WHO WE ARE
We don’t have it all together, but we are discovering what it means to find life in Jesus, follow Him fully, break free from our past, and walk in victory together.
WHO WE ARE
We are a community of believers in Jesus Christ who don’t have it all together, but are discovering what it means to find life in Jesus, follow Him fully, break free from our past, and walk in victory. Together, we worship God who shows us grace, mercy, and forgiveness, and purpose to show these attributes to everyone who comes through our doors.
We are people who take risks in faith, trusting God in every moment. We are passionate in what we do for God’s overall Church and do whatever it takes, short of sin, to find and guide people who are far from God. We are crazy about people and will get our hands messy to serve others. With that in mind, no matter what you’ve been through or what questions you may have, you are invited to be a part of the Monroe Apostolic Church family.
OUR PURPOSE AND VISION
Both our purpose and vision begin with focusing on Jesus. He has called His overall Church to make disciples and reach the world. Our purpose, then, as Monroe Apostolic Church, is to be an inclusive church — regardless of race, backgrounds, and personalities — and to serve, impact, and reach our community.
As we fulfill our purpose, we aim to be a church that God desires. We do this by being led and focused on the Bible and being open to God’s supernatural power. We fully believe and expect radical life changes, miracles, and wonders for everyone. Our vision for people, then, is to see their lives changed, and see them freed from any kind of bondage — be it their past, mistakes, depression, addiction, and anything else holding them back.
We believe God’s overall Church has three main objectives: 1) to reach those far from and those searching for God, 2) to make disciples and 3) to build a community.
When reaching out to people, our mission is to reach those distant from the grace and mercy of Jesus whatever the cost. We believe Jesus loves everyone, and we want to express the love of God to everyone we meet.
When it comes to making disciples, our mission is to equip each believer with the necessary tools needed to walk closer with God and become who God has intended them to be.
When building a community, our mission is to develop and maintain a group of people we can all rely on. We are brothers and sisters at our core who build each other up and encourage each other when things get tough.
